“Basically I could repeat the review of the debut “Leave The Light”. Not a lot has changed on this second album by America’s . The band wrote and recorded ten new songs. Songs that refer to 70s acts like Black Sabbath and Pentagram. The most important factor is that knows how to write a good song. From the first spin onwards it’s clear this is all very recognizable without getting the idea the band stole everything. No, this simply sounds all really cool even when you have to be a fan of the vocal style though. I can imagine not everyone will be into that. Furthermore “” contains enough variation in tempo to keep it all extra interesting. An up-tempo song like “See The Signs” reminds of The Lamp Of Thoth for instance. In short, an album that has to be heard.
