Those of you who enjoyed the first two albums will embrace “” with equal fervor as the new album pursues the same frontier. Although the bands lineup regularly change’s, the song remains the same. Bills love for bands like Free, Grand Funk and Led Zeppelin is still apparent and he also shares congruence to Lenny Kravitz. Some remonstrate Kravitz’s style is contrived, but given a listen you can tell Steers compositions are deeply heartfelt and this is as close as you can get to the ‘real deal’. There are jazz voicings on tracks like ‘Tumbling Down’ and ‘End Of The Day’, harmonica on ‘Hard Hearted’ and Bill pours on slide guitar and keyboards making this a killer addition to the discography. If your wings hover in retro, but your soul sours towards the unfolded ” will guide you into Arcadia.
