The music on offer here is a blend of Traditional Doom, Funeral Doom, Sludge and Post Metal. Some of the riffs carry a swaggering, yet slow, groove while others are like an aural tsunami washing over everything in its path. Some of it reminds me, musically, of Ahab, some of it of early Cathedral and some of it of stuff like Earth and Ufomammut… But manage to not directly ape any one of them. The tones are great, the mix is clean and the vibe is indeed heavy.
