“A great opening of the new ; very tasteful laid-back the listener is pulled into the first track “I Live Behind The Clouds”. The way this is done reminds me in a way of Belgian alternative rock. Mister Wyndorf shows us he can truly sing with devotion and the arrangement towards the seventies classic rock solo is superb. Track two can be slightly disappointing, heading towards the too average concept, but the instrumental contributions towards the end make up for something. The interpretation of the Donovan cover “Three Kingfishers” is not really spectacular, but surely very acceptable with the recognizable flavor. The next track “Paradise” seems to be unable to work towards something, despite some cunning cooperation between bass and guitar. The stomping “Hallelujah” is alright and maybe even funny, but the unique selling points of a great song are highlighted in the following “Mindless Ones”. The structure of working with effects from eye for detail to completely over the top; this is exactly how it should be done. With “The Duke” Wyndorf and company show us once more they still can produce a musical rippling brook with some eastern influences, just like the great Led Zeppelin. An up-tempo rocker and a laid-back tune which is coming to the fade out too soon, because of some great chosen minimal additions, are the final tracks of this release. “” will probably not become the most memorable album of the band, but mister Wyndorf has certainly delivered a worthy piece of work.”
