“Danish outfit haven’t been around too terribly long, but you wouldn’t guess it by their veteran classic sounding musicianship and overall flow and tightness as a unit. Some of it reminds me of 60’s garage, other times it reminds me of bands like Cream and Pentagram with their creamy guitar tones and layers of stringed overdubs…leads and all.
The vocals remind me of somewhere between the singer for Steppenwolf crossed with Paul Stanley…kind of has that Wyndorf from Monster Magnet thing going with the grit of Iggy Pop.
A lot of the album reminds me of the real 60’s retro stuff that you would hear on Monster Magnet’s “Dopes To Infinity”…complete with keyboards, handclaps and tremelo effects on the guitars. The two guitars throught the mix on this CD seem to play off of each other nicely and overall is very impressive playing.
If you are into “Dopes To Infinity”… get this one. If you like retro guitar garage stuff you might like it as well. have a little of everything… heavy fuzz-psychedelia… the works!”
