“Damnit, this is quite a nice record to receive as a Kyuss fan. It is only released a couple of months too late, considering this would have been the perfect summer record. Hammock in the garden, sun in your face. Ice cold beer in your hands and doing nothing except enjoying the fuzzy catchiness in which Brant Bjork excels at. I do have to admit that I have to give the rest of the band members credits as well, considering Bubba Dupree, Tony Tornay and David Dinsmore and their history in bands like Fatso Jetson, Void and Ch’ is quite something as well.”
“Riff’s a’la “Welcome To Sky Valley” are very present here, even though this record is way more straight-forward than the aforementioned; having said that there are a fair share of 70’s passages that contain proggy awesomeness of course. The heydays of the desert stoner scene seem to be in the past. I am quite excited to see that a record like “” shows that there is still activity in that area, worthwhile to check out.”
