“I have to admit that I’m biased when it comes to bands like . In general I really don’t like bands that dress like they are from the 70s. This prejudice makes you accept the music a lot less. I didn’t even care to listen to ‘s “Self Titled” debut that was released through This Charming Man Records and Tee Pee Records. I have to admit however that this was a mistake on my behalf. The second album of this Berlin-based trio actually is really good. “Abra Kadaver” follows the path that bands like Black Sabbath, Pentagram and Hawkwind already walked in the 70s. Of course I can search for aspects within the music to accuse the band of not being original. They’re not, but simply delivers an album that should appeal to the fans of heavy rock. I for one really did enjoy the album and will definitely find the earlier recordings too. This doesn’t change the fact that I still can’t see why you would want to dress like this, but I won’t nag about that anymore from now on.”
