“‘s “” has a more subdued approach (than “The Battle Of The Axehammer”), bringing in elements of funk, jazz, and classic rock to their minimalist instrumentals. They make their songs seem like well thought-out jams. There’s spontaneity, but it’s always focused. As was the case with “The Battle…”, “” is a classic case of the “less is more” school of songwriting. The rhythm remains constant, but the guitars build and build, adding more layers. They create trance/drone music that runs a gamut of styles. Fans of 35007, SubArachnoid Space, and Colour Haze need to add to their collection.”
