“The first three albums by Norway’s impressed and scored high marks. I was kind of curious what this new album would bring. Well. I can tell these guys just added an extra bit. The basics of the music can still be found in bands like Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin, but they have added more progressive elements. A band like Opeth seems to have been an influence on as of late. Still the band manages to create their own sound and style based on these influences. sounds authentic and they are the sole ones responsible for that. The compositions are really strong and thought-through. “” therefore is an album that, to me, has a change to get a place in the top 10 of 2013’s best albums. All songs are great.
