” is a new doom metal band from the Netherlands. Perhaps band is not the correct word as this is mainly one person, Tjeerd de Jong, who used to be in bands like Lethargy, Beyond Belief and Stone In Egypt. That last band folded in 2008 when Tjeerd came to realise it was too hard to keep a band complete. With he is doing all things by himself, well almost. Ruud Danenberg recorded the drums and there are some guest appearances by Robbie Woning (Dead Head/ Beyond Belief) and producer Berthus Westerhuis doing some guitar solos. Musically this is classic doom metal and due to Tjeerd’s vocals you have to think of Ozzy and Black Sabbath. Count Raven also springs to mind. All four songs are equally strong and simply is a great addition. This 12′ is heavily limited to 196 copies, so be fast if you want one, as this is a really good release.”
