“While two of three members are also quite busy being part of Dave Wyndorf’s Monster Magnet, their band succeeds to present some new material on a brand new album. The latest gig I visited in Merleyn, Nijmegen, already predicted some promising stuff to come. The opening track may seem pretty straight forward, but fortunately the guys start giving it all from track two; exactly the right proportions of freaky breaks, spacy elements and other obstinate musical situations are released upon the listener. These guys are just phenomenal musicians! And this bunch isn’t doing it for showing off; having seen them live several times, I’m sure it’s straight from the heart, with some high quality acid-freejazz in the stoner hotchpotch. This is simply another great album which can only get better by hearing it more and more.”
