“Damnit, the mysticism around this band is so immense, that even a CD-R release was getting sold for over a hundred bucks. Normally, I am quite the sucker for cult-items; may it be records, films or single malt’s, but luckily enough, I still have enough wit to not pay that amount of money for something like this. Luckily enough, Rise Above Records came up with the briljant idea to release the fantastic “Blood Lust” on vinyl and within a few minutes I had this record pre-ordered. The amazingly catchy, but venomous sound of this band is mostly caused by the weird hybrid of Black Sabbath and Rocky Erickson, which is perfectly complimented by the vocals that sound like a reminiscent of John Lennon.”
“” is the name of the new and fuck, this one is awesome! This masterpiece gives me the exact same feeling the predecessor did. What feeling am I talking about? The feeling as if I am listening to a additive drug with an effect lasting for over fifty minutes, with the result of me staring in front of me like a drooling retard, while unknowingly imitating a bobblehead doll, before I return to my original state. “Poison Apple”, the track that was previewed before the release, is just the tip of the iceberg. The opening track “Mt. Abraxas” is destined to become a cult-anthem; perfect as the closing-track for a wonderful live-set, “Mind Crawler” also sound like a track that will be sung-along by many a fan at the upcoming Roadburn 2013 festival (I can’t wait!). I will be shouting along. Fantastic record.”
